Brave Beauty (Beleza Valente) is a landmark exhibition by Prof. Zanele Muholi, featuring more than 100 photographs and self-portraits spanning two decades of visual activism. Presented at the Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR) during Brazil's Pride Month, the exhibition celebrates Black LGBTQIAPN+ visibility, resilience, and self-representation while exploring themes of identity, memory, resistance, and belonging across South Africa and Brazil.
